CATHERINE KABUKI CUDJOE
Catherine Kabuki Cudjoe (popularly known as Keymama) is a distinguished
Ghanaian-American
recreational therapist, broadcast journalist, philanthropist,
transnational business and investment promoter, African culture promoter, women empowerment and civil right activist. Catherine Cudjoe was born in Accra some Ghana 50 years ago to parents were very loving and caring but tough disciplinarians.
Catherine Cudjoe’s sheer determination and tenacity in her approach to issues of life cannot be over emphasized. Starting from a humble beginning as a Middle School Leaving Certificate holder, food vendor, Kerosine retailer and Dressmaker in the Kansehie Central Market of Accra, Ghana, before relocating to the US, She now holds Associate Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreational Therapy and MBA in Business Management from the Devry University in the United States of America. She is currently pursuing another qualification in professional project management studies.
Catherine Cudjoe is currently the President of the National Ghana Parade Council
(NGPC), the organizers of the Ghana Festival New York, the Progressive Alliance Movement, a native civil society organization also working assiduously to have Ghanaians living and working abroad to take part in the general elections in Ghana to select the President and Members of Parliament for their beloved
country, Ghana. She is also the founder and President of the Keymama Foundation and the main host of the popular Keymama Show. Catherine Cudjoe is also serving effectively on several boards including the Council for Ga-Dangme
Divisional Chiefs, Krobo Beads Bank and the Holistic Migration Consult.
In spite of the agonizing situations she had to go through as immigrant in America and also being a single parent to five adorable children (4 boys and a girl), she still made time out of her extremely busy work schedules to study and obtained Certificates, Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree, MBA and currently studying to become a Professional Project Manager making her a perfect role model for emerging career women.
Out of her endless generosity and kindheartedness, she is propping up many emerging entrepreneurs through her topnotch Keymama Show at no cost to them; she gives away live chicken, rice, cooking oil and other condiments to poor single parents in selected communities in Ghana every Christmas and Children’s Day Family Mix & Mingle at Crotona Park every second week in June, through your Keymama Foundation. Under the auspices of the flagship National Ghana Parade Council Catherine Cudjoe is ardently promoting the unique, brilliant and flamboyant Ghanaian multicultural heritage to the rest of the world while winning foreign direct investment for Ghana.
